Joe’s Army Navy, one of Michigan’s largest military surplus stores, is coming to GLEPE
The GLEPE staff are excited to announce the addition of Joe’s Army Navy to the Great Lakes Emergency Preparedness roster!
Joe’s Army Navy Surplus was started in 1946 in downtown Pontiac, MI. During the ensuing years, Joe’s enjoyed success in Pontiac as a specialty retailer of military clothing and hard goods, as well as clothing, footwear, and accessories for work and outdoors. In 1983, the Pontiac store was moved to its present location in Waterford. A second location was opened in downtown Royal Oak in 1988 and was moved to its present location on Woodward in 2001.
The mission of Joe’s Army Navy is to offer their customers quality merchandise in an environment not found in specialty stores or the mass merchants. This unique shopping experience is derived from its extensive product mix of commercial outdoor products, U.S. and foreign military surplus, and lots of other “stuff” not found in most other stores. It is enhanced by the entire staff striving together to provide customers with superior service, definitive expertise, and a huge assortment of items for casual buyers and seasoned experts alike.
The depth of available products from Joe’s Army Navy brings a unique opportunity to the Show in October for preppers to complete their resource collections with the highest quality tools, outerwear, and rare, unique products.
Joe’s carries prepper & survival gear for all types of outdoor environments. They specialize in cold weather clothing and footwear as well and have a huge selection of practical survival equipment like knives, packs, bug out bags, and various styles of long term storage food and water.
